Monthly Meetings
There is a monthly open meeting on the first Wednesday of the month where members come together to share the experiences of their groups, find out about events and activities and listen to a presentation on a topic of general interest. Doors open at 1:15pm and the presentation starts at 2pm and lasts for about an hour. We meet at the Bowdon Rugby Club, The Marquee Room , Clay Lane, Timperley, Altrincham, WA15 7AF.
After the presentation, there will be light refreshments and an opportunity to chat to other members, find out more about our u3a and possibly join an Interest Group. Admission to the Monthly Meetings is now free of charge.

Social Events
We hold regular social events. It is a great way to meet new people as well as to have some fun with existing friends. Examples from 2023 include a Hot Pot Supper and Quiz, Theatre Trips, An Irish Music evening, A Ceilidh, A Music Train to Chester and a Christmas Party.

- Visited Wentworth Woodhouse , South Yorkshire
- Visited the WW1 Battlefields in Flanders in Belgium and Arras in France
- Visited the National Memorial Arboretum, Staffordshire
- Enjoyed a 12-night cruise sailing from Newcastle to the Baltic (see picture left)
In addition holidays are planned for Portsmouth and Ireland.
