Members can join any of our Interest Groups, and receive a monthly Newsletter, full of topical news, views and details of up-coming events. Benefits of membership also include 5 copies a year of Third Age Matters magazine, and access to regional and national u3a resources, advice and support. Members are part of a community of over 900 people locally, and over 450,000 nationally.
Our Membership Year runs from 1st April to 31st March. u3as are funded in the main by the subscriptions of their members. It costs £10.00 to join Hale u3a.
In addition, there is sometimes a small contribution towards the costs of group meetings, especially if rooms have to be hired – but these are decided by the members of the groups.
Gift Aid: Are you a UK tax payer? If so, you can authorise Hale & District u3a to claim from the tax man an additional 25p for every pound of your annual subscription. Currently that raises an additional £3 on every Gift Aided membership and helps us to keep down costs to our members. So please taken the time to complete this section of the Membership Form before you return it to us.
