Hale and District U3A Tennis Group plays at Claremont Tennis Club on alternative Tuesday and Thursday mornings. Claremont T C offers brand new all-weather AstroTurf courts and a modern Clubhouse with excellent facilities. We are a friendly group of people and you will fit in provided you are not an absolute beginner. However, for those with limited ability arrangements can be made for lessons with the Claremont Tennis Coach at very reasonable rates. The organiser sends out invitations for every session to each member who has requested to be included and members are asked to respond in order to book a place. This is so the number of participants can be controlled and we know that we aren't oversubscribed for that session.

  For Maximum (playing at any one session) it is really 20. The Maximum are those names in the distribution list invited every week to book a place. The 20 who play at the session are chosen on a first come basis who have applied to play from the maximum list of 40 players.

  The fee is £5 per session including coffee and biscuits for those who wish to linger a little at the end for a friendly chat.
