We have just started up this Pool group to make it easier for u3a Members to have the opportunity to play this very enjoyable game.
Mark has kindly offered to make his well appointed table and room available for us, and he will be happy to engage with new members to get you started in the group if you get in touch with him.
No doubt we will settle into a routine as the group becomes more established, but will organise sessions to suite as many people as we can.
As the membership grows we will ensure that you are able to play with people of your own ability, and will the aim to give you an opportunity to develop your skills and approach to the game, whilst making that all an enjoyable to experience,
We aim to provide a relaxed atmosphere, and a supportive attitude, so that everyone can have an enjoyable evening. The rules are fairly straightforward, and the finer points will be explained as we go.
We have contact with single match and team match Pool clubs, so if you want to develop your game along these lines, we will aim to facilitate that with you.
