This group is for people interested in learning how to solve cryptic crosswords. Ideally, members will have attended the 6 week national cryptic crossword course or have read the book 'Learn How to Solve Cryptic Crosswords' by Henry Howarth but this is not essential. In between meetings, members attempt an agreed crossword from the simply daily puzzles website(beginner level) and/or the Guardian quiptic (intermediate level) and then we meet to discuss the clues and their solutions over a tea/coffee. We have a range of abilities in our group and all levels are very welcome.
