About Group Membership: We meet once a month & share information, images & news via WhatsApp in between. We visit venues of artistic or cultural interest, which could be a museum, art gallery, garden, historic building, theatre, cemetery, church, walking tour or a cinema to see an art film. Many venues serve excellent home made lunches or tea & cakes, which gives us the opportunity to discuss our impressions & ideas. We travel either by public transport or car share, usually with a 50 mile radius of Hale. Most activities take up to a full day & are reasonably physically active. For the past 2 years we have incorporated an early summer mini-break into our schedule. The date of any visit depends on the venue & member availability. We often run 2 trips to the same venue on different dates, typically Wednesdays & Thursdays. All activities are risk assessed.
