The proposed Hale U3A Aeronautics Group will bring together on a monthly basis members with an interest in the heritage and evolution of both military and civil aircraft.

Through friendly monthly meetings, we will explore the development of notable aircraft, the historical context in which they emerged, and the design and engineering choices that shaped them, with topics ranging from broad general-interest discussions to more technical deep dives. Members will also be encouraged to share their own areas of interest and, where appropriate, contribute to or lead a session.
