We are a group of members who like to paint or draw and would like to improve at what we do. We get together to encourage each other and to share and solve problems. Recently, we have started following tutorials on the internet, so that we have the shared experience of painting the same scene together. So sometimes we work together and sometimes on our own projects. We have ventured out occasionally to sketch local scenes.

We don't run a teaching course for beginners but we can give you lots of advice. If you have no previous experience then we have a range of paints that you can use until you get yourself kitted out. So beginners are welcome, but if you want to join in with what the others are doing in our meetings then it's best to gain experience outside the group as well.

We meet at the Broomwood Wellness Centre in Timperley. It's a smaller venue than our previous one but so far we have never quite filled the room. However, as we have just taken on a couple of new members in April 2026 then I want to wait a bit before taking anyone extra on. If you are interested in joining us then please get in touch. I'm sure it won't be long before you can come along to our sessions.

There is usually a Café there and facilities for making tea or coffee.
